Integrated solenoid controls for simple installation
Our Generation II Hydraulic Drive compressor family offers a plug-and-play solution for every heavy equipment asset AC problem.
To make things simple, your Unicla compressor, drive coupling, housing, and hydraulic motor come pre-assembled and ready to install. This plug and play functionality means that you can connect your compressor and get your equipment moving, fast, without complex hydraulic hookups.
Supercool General Manager, Jon Mitchell, explains that the real benefit is the huge cost savings to equipment owners, now that complex remote valve controls have been replaced with an internal solenoid coil to control the hydraulic flow.
“The older Gen I design has been a solid performer for over 12 years, but we found that equipment owners had to spend extra time and money bringing in a specialist to integrate the compressor with the asset’s existing hydraulic connections.”

Now, the onboard hydraulic motor is packaged with 12V and 24V DC On/Off solenoids that drastically cut down the install time for our customers. The freedom to work with any heavy equipment
The Generation II family provides a diverse range of compressor assemblies to cater for every conceivable application required by the mining, agricultural, transport, and earthmoving industries.
The range can be driven by any 11-15cc hydraulic motor with a standard SAE twin-bolt, A-type mounting configuration, and 5/8″ nine-spline shaft.
Featuring four sturdy mounting points integral to the coupler housing, the hydraulic drive compressor assembly gives engineers and technicians the flexibility to locate the unit almost anywhere.
As well as being easy to fit to diverse equipment, Jon adds that the compressor’s output remains at full capacity – even when your asset is idle.

The specs
The Gen II Unicla UPH Hydraulic Drive assembly comes complete with everything you need to install. A rear cylinder head on all models features low and high-side service ports and a high-pressure relief valve.
The compressor body includes a 7/16″ UNF male flare oil return port and the hydraulic motor includes both 12V and 24V DC On/Off solenoids with 2-pin female Deutsch plug, and a 2-pin male Deutsch plug with 1 metre of pre-wired harness ready to integrate directly to the system thermostat.
The range offers multi-refrigerant compatibility including R134a, R404A, R452A, R1234yf and R513A refrigerants, and boasts three compressor displacement options – 145, 172 and 200cc. Further freedom is achieved through the choice of vertical or horizontal #8 / #10 O-ring rear cylinder heads.
